To our 6S community,
It is with very heavy hearts that we have to report that CrossFit 6S will be closed effective immediately until tentatively April 1st. We will continue to closely monitor the situation & re-open as soon as we are able to.
In this regard, ALL CLASSES (including Open Gym) this evening are CANCELLED. We will have our doors open until 8pm tonight, so you can come in and get your shoes. As well, we want you to be prepared! We have purchased bands, kettlebells and skipping ropes & we will be selling these (at cost) to you TODAY UNTIL 8PM. If you cannot make it tonight but would like to purchase one, please email us at email@example.com so we can arrange something.
We first off want to thank every single one of you for your help to try and prevent this from happening, but unfortunately, it is our duty to keep all of you safe, so we must do our part to "flatten the curve".
However, with all heartbreak comes an opportunity…
And ours is to come together as a community to be there for one another & to spend dedicated time (possibly uninterrupted) creatively fine-tuning our health and fitness. Just because we don’t have barbells and echo bikes doesn’t mean we can’t all be FITTER and HEALTHIER in the upcoming weeks.
We care way too much about you to let this drop. We’re not going to stop coaching you and we definitely won’t just let you sit in self-isolation feeling like you’re alone! We are going to give you everything you need to stay as healthy and fit as possible so that you can maintain your immunity to fight against this terrible virus!
We’re going to keep delivering to you.

1. Continue to workout!
This whole thing is stressful enough - we don’t need to add to it by not exercising. Continue to join the classes, do the workouts & post your scores. Give virtual fist bumps!
2. Dial in your nutrition
With a change in your workout routine, it's more important than ever to change your nutrition accordingly. Book a 15 min nutrition consultation HERE to learn how nutrition coaching can be done anywhere & how it can help you! The support, accountability & education you’ll receive will help prevent you from getting sick and also ensure you reach your goals. Nutrition check-in meetings are easily done via video call! Don’t let working-from-home be the reason you fall off the nutrition wagon; plus, what better time to spend making healthy foods than when you’re always home!
3. Wash your hands like you just ate a gallon of ice cream
4. Stay engaged with us through Facebook and Instagram!
With regards to your memberships, we will do our best to continue to provide you with the highest quality of care that you are accustomed to at 6S. In return, we ask that you keep your memberships active for the time being. We love you guys so much and want to ensure that we all have a home to return to when this is over. While all this is going on, we do need to continue to pay our bills, and we want to ensure that our coaches are fairly compensated for the work they will be doing and for many of our coaches, this is their sole source of income.
We also understand that some of you, too, may be taking a financial hit with the closings and illnesses. If that’s the case, please don’t hesitate to contact us so we can help bridge the gap.
This is certainly not an easy decision for us and we don’t take it lightly. Our goal is to re-open as soon as we can and to keep providing you with the service and community that has become so important to you.
