About Hank's Powerhouse
The sport of powerlifting is about strength. It is focused on the 3 main lifts: squat, bench press and deadlift. Hank's Powerhouse is the powerlifting club operating our of CrossFit 6S. It began as a once a week class for CrossFit members and has grown in to a full stand alone program. This program focuses on getting STRONG! The programming is partially individualized to improve each member's specific weaknesses and cater to their individual goals. Whether you want to compete in powerlifting, get strong to excel in CrossFit or any other sport, or just like lifting heavy things, this program is for you! 1) 4, 90min classes/week;
2) 2, 90min classes/week add-on for CrossFit members
About Coach Adam
Coach Adam started powerlifting 15 years ago after getting tired of bodybuilding style training. He quickly began competing eventually qualifying for national and international level competitions. He learned the ins and outs of competing and training in powerlifting from world level competitors and coaches. He holds multiple Canadian records in the squat, bench press, deadlift and total with lifetime PRs of 660lbs squat, 400lbs bench press and a 570lbs deadlift.
